In October 2013 we had our first schoolhouse ready. The build began in November 2012 by digging for the ground, proceeded during the fall so that we, as we came to Kenya in June with the first group of SSHL students, was allowed to help with fitting of windows and doors and plastering the brick walls. That work then continued as we left and in October the house was all finished. Painted both inside and outside, glaswindows fitted and gutters and watertanks ready for the big rains. In October 2013 we had our first schoolhouse ready.
